Blueberry frosted cupcake pincushion

Bottom:
With 4mm hook and beige yarn,
6 sc in ring
2:  inc around (12)
3:  *1 sc, inc* six times (18)
4:  *2 sc, inc* six times (24)
5:  *3 sc, inc* six times (30)
6:  *4 sc, inc* six times (36)
7:   sc around in BLO
8-10:  sc around
Finish off


Frosting:
With 4mm hook and light blue yarn,
6 sc in ring
2:  inc around (12)
3:  *1 sc, inc* six times (18)
4:  *2 sc, inc* six times (24)
5:  sc around
6:  *3 sc, inc* six times (30)
7-8:  sc around
9:  *4 sc, inc* six times (36)
10:  sc around
FLO: *1 hdc + 1 dc + 1 hdc in same, sl st in next* around
Finish off
Embroider sprinkles (French knots) on frosting with pink yarn

Assembly...


Cut a circle of cardboard and glue it in the bottom of the cake. This will make it flat, and will also prevent your needles and pins from poking all the way through the pincushion.

Sew the frosting to the bottom of the cake with blue yarn, stuff firmly. Enjoy :)
